Blog Assignment 4- Protests In Egypt
Recently we discussed the current events going in Egypt and why they are occurring. In at least 5 sentences explain to me what is happening to Egypt, how would you compare and contrast(how is it alike and how is it different) it to the American Revolution, and give me your opinion on if the U.S. should get involved or not. Remember this: we discussed how President Muburak has been an American ally for 31 years but also has taken away many rights of the Egyptian people. Don't forget to put your full name at the end of the comment.

A dictator controls Cairo and has made unfair laws. The people have made very big mobs and have caused damage. This is like the revolution in 2 ways we were under a unfair ruler and we made a lot of mobs like the Boston Massacre. I think America should be involved just to straighten things out.

The dictator Mubarak of Egypt is telling the Egyptians what to do with the bad laws. They can't go on the internet and other unfair laws. It is like the American Revolution because the government is unfair and the commotion with the explosions of protesters in Egypt is like the commotion in Boston called the Boston Massacre when the British shot people and killed at least four people. It is different from the American Revolution because the British were the people that attack and the citizens in Egypt were the ones attacking. I think America should help the people of Egypt because we are all on the same team.

The dictator of Egypt is Mubarak. They do not like him because he dictates them. This is similar to the American Reveloution because they are fighting for independence. I think we should help Egyptians kick Mubarak out.

In Egypt the people are fighting for there freedom. They are out in big mobs. These mobs are fighting. I think this is like the American Revolution because they are fighting for there freedom like we did. I think we should help because everyone deserves freedom.

I think the US should not get involved. The Egyptians are trying themselves to get freedom. Not from America. We should respect the Egyptians

Mubarak should not be a dictator. It is like the AR because all the citizens are protesting. We should not get involved. The only time we should is if things go way to overboard. I hope the Egyptians get their peace!!!

In Egypt, President Mubarak is making bad laws for the Egyptians. I think it is like the American Revolution because the government is not fair to the people. It is different from the American Revolution because we were attacking the Egyptians and the British were attacking us. I think the U.S. should get involved in it just a little bit because everyone wants freedom and in order to get freedom you have to fight for it. The U.S. fought for its freedom.
